The Best Queens of the Circuit: When Women Show Off Their Skills at the Mandalika Kartini Race
Lombok – Indonesian women demonstrated their equality in a racing event at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Through the ‘Queens of the Circuit-Mandalika Kartini Race 2026,’ these women successfully demonstrated their role in the automotive world.
The race was successfully held from May 1-3, 2026, in collaboration with the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) and Krida Mataram. The ‘Queens of the Circuit-Mandalika Kartini Race 2026’ is an initiative to encourage increased female participation in Indonesian motorsports.
This prestigious event is more than just about racing; it’s dedicated to celebrating the abilities and strategic role of women on the racetrack. Adopting a one-make race concept, all participants use Toyota Agya 1200cc vehicles, ensuring a level playing field, with a focus on the abilities and skills of each driver.
Eight female drivers were selected to participate in the competition. The participants were curated by Women in Motorsport (WIM) and come from various racing disciplines in Indonesia. They are Alexandra (former Formula Renault Asia driver), Alinka (all-around racer), Audya Anjani (a newcomer from Lombok), Belove Athaya (driving driver), Clio Tjoannadi (go-kart driver), Vivit Fariana (drag racer and sprint rally driver), Patricia Purnomo (drag racer and sprint rally driver), and Ine Rosdiana (Radical Time Attack driver).
This event not only involves the drivers but also involves all operational elements, which are dominated by women, both on and off the track. From safety car driver Amara Angelica, to grid officials, starters, finishers and various other technical roles.

The series of events took place over three days, including practice and qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday, and the final race on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Based on the official race results, here are the final standings for the Queens of the Circuit 2026:
1. Alinka Hardianti (Women in Motorsport) – Juara 1
2. Clio Tjoannadi (Women in Motorsport) – Juara 2
3. Alexandra Asmasoebrata (Women in Motorsport) – Juara 3
4. Audya Anjani (Krida)
5. Ine Rosdiana (Cargloss Motorsport)
6. Patricia Revalina (Putkar Reborn)
7. Belove Athaya (Women in Motorsport)
8. Vivit Fariana (Putkar Reborn)
Alinka Hardianti dominated throughout the race and also recorded the fastest lap with a time of 2:06.496.
This year’s Queens of the Circuit is also part of a series of international motorsport events, as it is held in conjunction with the GT World Challenge and the Mandalika Festival of Speed, further strengthening the Mandalika Circuit’s position as one of the centers of racing activity in Indonesia.
Through this event, MGPA and Krida Mataram hope to open more opportunities for women to participate in motorsport, both as racers and in various other professional roles in the industry.
